“The ‘Babér’ [Laurel] room got its name because the plants in the garden are just as important to me as the interior design of the Gardenhouse. Both the Villa Bagatelle buildings are enclosed by laurel hedges. This is especially noticeable in this particular room with its three lovely arched windows overlooking the front garden. We took all the pictures hanging here from our own home. We think this is what gives the room its soul.”
