“The name of the ‘Paletta’ [Palette] room reflects my love of painting. This intimate space with a large window facing north-east would make the perfect artist’s studio. I am proud to say that I learned how to use a painter’s palette from the artist whose works you see hanging in this very room: Erzsébet Vojnich. Every idea behind the design for this room was inspired by these pictures. The colours and textiles are all associated with the paintings.”
