“It is easy to see how the Bagatelle Gardenhouse got its name as the garden is the star of the show. In contrast to the interior, the garden is constantly changing. And not just because of the weather and seasons, but also with the passing of time. What a joy it was to plant 2000 bulbs in the autumn and wait in great anticipation for spring, when the tulips and daffodils would come into bloom. It was important to us for the garden to create lots of different spaces to encourage guests to take an espresso coffee on a gentle stroll and find the prefect place to rest under the shadow of a tree.”
